Sometimes people just grow apart for no particular reason… Life just took you down different paths which resulted in separation. It really bothers me when those on the outside looking in just assume the worst when two persons or a group of people just don’t seem to hang out or even communicate anymore. Many times nothing dramatic happened, God just had a different plan.
Honestly, sometimes people in our lives appear to be harmless in the moment but we have no idea how things could change down the line. This is why I believe that if God allows you to peacefully separate from anyone, it’s probably in your best interest to just accept it for what it is and move on. I know it may be easier said than done but that may just have been your peaceful exit before all hell breaks loose. If you hold on past the expiration date, things may not end so nicely. You may not understand why now, but trust that God knows. In the long run, it’s for your protection, whatever that may look like for you.
